Artist James White has been painting for over forty years and has won numerous art prizes. He is a member of the prestigious Australian Watercolour Institute, a group recognised as the elite in this medium. James’ subject matter varies from local and exotic landscapes to still life interiors; portraits to urban architecture.
In this workshop James will instruct participants how to use the transparent and luminous colours of watercolour paints to capture the light and life of flowers. Learn the techniques about how to prepare your paper, apply washes and glazes, work wet in wet and other essential skills to master this challenging medium and produce artwork with a striking painterly effect.
