New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) is the leading tourist attraction and cultural facility in Armidale in the heart of the New England North West region of New South Wales, Australia.
Over 50,000 visitors a year enjoy the Gallery’s collection of Australian and international art as well as a dynamic program of national touring and special exhibitions.
Getting Here
NERAM is located on Kentucky Street and is ideally positioned close to the city centre of Armidale, along the beautiful Black Gully Creeklands. There is both street and a dedicated car parking available. Tuesday – Saturdays, NERAM features as a stop on the Armidale Heritage Bus Tour, departing from the Visitor Information Centre at 10.00am.
Dining
The NERAM Cafe is located at the western end of the Museum and offers a casual dining experience in a relaxed environment. It’s a perfect stop before or after you enjoy an exhibition. On fine days enjoy your coffee outside on the terrace.
The cafe serves a variety of drinks and cake, light snacks, sandwiches, salads and a selection of hot food. Pop if for your early morning coffee from 7.30am.

Gallery Shop
Focusing on Australian and local artisan products, the NERAM shop has a broad range of unique gifts, jewellery, homewares, art books, cards, stationery and children’s toys and books. There are a number of items that are drawn from our own exceptional collections including prints, postcards and gifts.
Coming with a class or group?
NERAM encourages visits by schools and tour groups. We are able to provide exhibition tours tailored the needs and interests of your group. Please contact us directly to discuss your individual needs with our staff.
Access
NERAM welcomes everyone to explore and enjoy our facilities, exhibitions and programs. The galleries, Cafe and Shop are all located on a single level that is wheelchair accessible. There is an access parking space on Kentucky Street at the front of the gallery and in the gallery car park.
