This weekend 1st & 2nd April 2017
*** This event is still happening as planned – rain, snow or shine! ***
The Friends of NERAM are presenting the 11th NERAMBle open garden fundraising event on the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of April in the stunning gardens of ‘Myola’ at Black Mountain (near Guyra).
This gorgeous property was recently featured in New England Lifestyle magazine and will be complemented with artworks and sculptures by local artists whose work will be for sale, with the funds raised going to support New England Regional Art Museum. There will be works by 9 sculptors on display and 2 watercolour artists including the always popular work of James White.
The garden is looking magnificent having had a lot of rain – the roses are out and the the Autumn colour is starting. This garden has some of the best views in the New England – Lynne Walker, NERAMble organiser, Friends of NERAM
The garden will feature stalls selling jewellery, garden books and cards, Autumn Harvest produce and many other garden related attractions. The Black Mountain Nursery will have a special stall selling plants and a special raffle with lots of great prizes.
Raffle tickets, teas and lunches will be on sale.
Last year’s NERAMble was a great success with over 400 people attending over two days, raising over $10,000 which was recently donated by the Friends of NERAM to support the Helen Dangar Memorial Arts Bursary, which will create new opportunities for local artists.
