An Outdoor Program at NERAM
NERAM invites students to the grounds of the museum to explore, find and make!
Description of Activity:
After a tour of the art museum students are invited to explore the grounds of Black Gully and find their own art making equipment. Whether it’s sticks, leaves, grass or rocks students will compile their found objects from the natural world around them in order to create their own unique artwork.
Guided by our arts educators, students will experiment with methods of printmaking – monoprinting + monotype printing. Students will identify use of positive and negative space and the unique mark making that is made by organic objects in our everyday world.
Dates: Available Mon-Fri during school term
Venue: NERAM
Cost: Member Schools $3.50 per student, Non-Member Schools $5.50 per student
