Wild Rivers: Lizzie Horne

A journey to capture the essence of the wild rivers of New England on paper has taken Armidale printmaker Lizzie Horne far beyond local gorge country. A more than decade-long exploration of printmaking techniques with teachers and mentors in studios around the world has led her to a deep dive into sugar lift etching.

Horne has experimented with the medium to create a body of gestural, expressive works informed by the scale, movement and force of the New England awe-inspiring land and waterscapes.

Opening night: Friday 15 November, 6-8pm
