Term 1 2025 | Young Creatives – After School Art Program
In this 9 week program, students will create Collage art and Air-Dry Clay artworks with Kim Carruthers.
In weeks 1-3, students will build upon their existing collage knowledge and skills to design and create a set of 4 Collage Art Cards. In week 2 the class will visit NERAM exhibitions to see the work of two Australian collage artists. Class notes will include links to other contemporary collage artists for students to further research outside of class.
Students in weeks 4-9, will learn about clay and air-dry clay and basic techniques will be taught, before the students are to research and execute a final artwork from air-dry clay. Class notes include reference to exhibiting ceramic artists.
This is a great opportunity for students passionate about art to discover and experiment with new techniques and expand their artistic interests.
Materials will be provided.

Terms and Conditions
- All bookings for events, art classes and workshops require payment in full at the time of booking
- A minimum number of 8 students required for classes to proceed, please book and pay before this date to ensure classes go ahead
- As classes run on minimum numbers once bookings close, we are unable to offer refunds
- If the class does not proceed, you will be refunded any cash amount
- Bookings are essential
- For the safety of participants, parents should collect their child from the Packsaddle Studio at the end of class (5:15pm)
- Student contact details may be passed on to facilitators for communication purposes
