The University of New England was Australia’s first regional university and a pioneer in distance education. Over the decades, the University also amassed a diverse art collection that goes beyond the academic portraits seen within its hallowed halls. Revealed: Hidden gems from the UNE Art Collection provides a rare opportunity to examine some fascinating artworks by important artists such as Will Ashton, Gunter Christmann, Isabelle Devos, William Dobell, Elioth Gruner, Hans Heysen, Nora Heysen, Lionel Lindsay, Maurice Namatjira, Thea Proctor, Arthur Streeton and more.
