May 4 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
The Black Gully Printmakers will be hosting Print Day in May on Saturday 4th May in the Museum of Printing between 10am – 1pm. Print day in May is a worldwide celebration of printmaking, when printmakers share their skills and open their studios.
This year’s theme has a gallactic twist; (any excuse to bring Star Wars into the mix) the Black Gully Printmakers will share the excitement of May the 4th with a print your own postcard printing session.
Time: 10am – 1pm
Venue: Museum of Printing (on the lower level of NERAM building)
Cost: A gold coin donation is welcome
Open to all, come along and print with the historic lead type and printing press.
While in the Museum of printing take a look through the collection of machines and wood type that represents the early printing industry in regional Australia.
