Two new marvellous exhibitions.
With his mastery of the watercolour medium, local artist James White invokes the relationship between flowers and our daily lives in his latest exhibition Blooming Marvellous. Rather than merely capturing a staged still life, White connects the flowers depicted with various objects in the foreground to create a broader dialogue around our personal interactions with cut blooms.
NERAM’s resident printmaking group, the Black Gully Printmakers, delve into the collections to bring to light a variety of prints in Seeing the Light of Day: Prints from the collections. Using their expertise, knowledge and insight into different techniques, this exhibition will reveal the intricacies, skill, and creativity inherent with this traditional genre.
