LINO PRINTING WORKSHOP | Wallpaper & Fabric

FISH-SCALE REPEAT ON WALLPAPER AND FABRIC WITH RHONDA ELLEM

This workshop introduces you to the fish-scale block, a shape which has been used as a tile and weaving unit since ancient times.

Day 1 you’ll be guided through the design and lino-carving process to create three blocks suitable for continuous printing on paper and fabric.

Day 2 will be printing layouts on wallpaper, selecting the best for a fabric piece with collage, and, in the afternoon curating and making a concertina artist book.

Materials | Some materials will be supplied. Participants will be emailed a list of things to bring to the workshop.

• A minimum number of 4 students required for workshops to proceed, please book and pay before 9am Tuesday 16 May 2023 to ensure the workshop will go ahead.
• As classes run on minimums, once bookings close we are unable to offer refunds.
• If the class does not proceed, you will be refunded any cash amount and credited value for any voucher used.
