New England Regional Art Museum Ltd. is a not for profit organisation built with a combination of state and local government funding and community contributions. NERAM is a company limited by guarantee, and a charitable trust which has endorsed deductible gift recipient status.
NERAM receives funding from the Armidale Regional Council, the NSW State Government through Create NSW, and the Margaret Olley Art Trust. The balance of operating costs are made up from membership, programs, retail operations, venue hire, sponsorship and fundraising.
NERAM is the Trustee of the Hinton Trust and the Coventry Trust.
NERAM Foundation
The NERAM Foundation was launched to support the sustainable and ongoing development of the New England Regional Art Museum. The income from the Trust Capital will be paid to NERAM Ltd to assist it with programs and operations. Community support for the NERAM Foundation will ensure the long term survival of this most significant regional cultural institution.
Friends of NERAM
Friends of NERAM Inc. is the art museum’s membership organisation. FON is a separate legal entity, controlled and operated by the Friends of NERAM committee as an incorporated association.
