Collections at NERAM
Always at the heart of NERAM’s purpose and program is the responsibility and privilege to care for and facilitate access to our outstanding collections.
NERAM is home to over 5,000 works of art including two of the most important and extensive collections of Australian art in regional Australia, the Howard Hinton and the Chandler Coventry Collections. As custodian of two such nationally significant collections and an active developer of the NERAM Collection, a vital role of the Museum is to at all times preserve, maintain, and exhibit the collections through curatorial, educational and promotional programs.
Collection Loans
NERAM welcomes enquires from institutions for loans of artworks from the Collections to be included in relevant national exhibitions. For all loan enquiries, please contact us.
Image Reproductions
Digital images of artworks in the Gallery’s Collection can be licensed for publications, multimedia and research. Reproduction fees apply in most circumstances. These fees depend on the nature and print run of the publication or product and if photography of the artwork is required. For any reproduction requests, please download the NERAM Reproduction Request. For all reproduction enquiries, please contact us.
Prints and postcards of some artworks, as well as merchandise, are also available from the NERAM Shop and via 1000 Museums.
